UK Charts ending 26 June 2010
After five weeks at number one, Red Dead Redemption has been dethroned by Harry Potter and his blocky friends as LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 gains top stop in this weeks UK Charts. Red Dead Redemption and Super Mario Galaxy complete the podium positions, while 505′s Naughty Bear enters in fifth, the highly acclaimed Demon’s Souls in sixth and Transformers: War for Cybertron in eighth, rounding off a successful week for the new releases. I don’t think the Lego games will ever improve on Lego Star Wars – the two worlds just lent themselves to eachother so well, and it was such a unique idea at the time. Now we’re a little innundated with Lego titles and I for one am a little bored of them.
LEGO Batman and Indy were nowhere near the quality of LEGO Star Wars, but apparently Potter is back to the form of Star Wars. There will be a MediaKick verdict soon
Oh and there’s obviously LEGO Star Wars: The Clone Wars in production at the moment.
