Firemint has revealed some of the details for the upcoming PlayStation 3 version of Flight Control.
The upcoming iPhone port will support PlayStation Move and run in glorious 1080p; oh, and there’s a small matter of stereoscopic 3D as well. Players will be able to either play alone or drop-in, drop-out co-op with up to four friends. “Multiplayer is insanely fun, you can never be quite sure whether a new player is going to help or hinder your efforts so there tends to be a lot of laughing and jeering,” Firemint’s CEO, Rob Murray, said whilst speaking to TheSixthAxis. “It’s turned Flight Control HD into an extremely social game.”
There will also be an exclusive “Metropolis” map which will cycle through day and night. The game is set for release with PlayStation Moves on September 15th, however the game is playable with a DualShock.

I thought people were saying 3D and 1080p simply weren’t possible. Still drop-in, drop-out co-op means that this game is pretty much guaranteed for me!
It isn’t, I wonder if the 3D mode will switch to 2 x 720p images like Super Stardust HD3D
