Sony has announced during their Cologne-based GamesCom conference Ratchet And Clank: All 4 One.

Chad Dezem, Head of North Carolina studio of Insomniac walked onstage to reveal the new Ratchet and Clank game. With drop-in/drop-out co-op for up to four players – either locally or online, aiming to bring a “competitive edge”. There will be collaborative weapons such as an electric tether, or you could just throw your friends over gaps. The PlayStation 3 exclusive will see Ratchet and Clank joined by Captain Qwark and Dr Nefarious.

Ratchet and Clank: All for One is set for release in Fall of 2011.
