UK Charts: Reach Becomes Fifth Biggest Launch

UK Charts ending 18 September 2010

Halo: Reach, the final game from Bungie in the Halo series, has rocketed to the top of the charts and has become Microsoft’s biggest ever launch and the fifth largest release in the UK, ever. Having sold 200,000 more copies than last years disappointing Halo 3: ODST and 20,000 than record breaking Halo 3 (however, it also had an extra day with Reach releasing on Tuesday, whereas Halo 3 released on a Wednesday), Reach now sits behind Modern Warfare 2 and GTAIV as the only two titles to have sold more on the Xbox 360. With the release of PlayStation Move, Sports Champions takes second spot, whilst Mafia II continues to impress in third.
