With what is probably the saddest news of the month, LittleBigPlanet 2 has been delayed.

That’s right kids, you will no longer be able to get your excited little mits on Sackboy in his second adventure this November, as Media Molecule confirmed today that LittleBigPlanet 2 will now release in January 2011. Here, wipe up those tears. The reason for the delay is so that they can ensure the game will give you the “best experience imaginable.” However, every cloud and all that, the Guildford based developer stated, “On the upside, we are going to find a way to give more of you a taste of LBP2 prior to launch, so stay tuned.”

LittleBigPlanet 2 will now release in January 2011, exclusively for PlayStation 3.
