Sony has announced a new update will be coming to Motorstorm: Apocalypse. The After Party update will bring a new day and night track called The Rock which is set in an abandoned prison island near the bay and it will feature the multiple routes Motorstorm is known for.

The update will also bring in more single player races built from scratch by Evolution and will be introduced via Special Event Packs. Each pack sees you play as a distinguished character from the Festival and will offer 120,000 chips if first place is achieved in six unique events. The first pack, Stone: Jack of Clubs, is included in the update with future packs coming to the PlayStation Store for free.

Also included in the update will be weekly challenges (updated every Wednesday), retuned vehicles, improved stability to servers and improvements to the game overall. The After Party update should be available now with more free Event Packs coming soon.
