Collector’s Editions are often given a bit of stick for their outrageous prices and, announced today at QuakeCon, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim looks set to join that ever growing list. The limited edition was revealed during Todd Howard’s Skyrim presentation and, when compared other Collector’s Editions being released at the same time, you will perform the Culkin. The Collector’s Edition will contain:

• Alduin Statue: High quality PVC model of Alduin, the World Eater. Stands at 12” tall and is perched atop one of the game’s dragon walls.
• ‘The Art of Skyrim’ Official Art Book: Features over 200 pages of full-color illustrations, sketches and models of the characters, creatures, environments, and weaponry of Skyrim.
• ‘The Making of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ DVD A DVD that contains exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage, including interviews with the Bethesda Game Studios team as they take you from concept to creation and provide insights into the story, gameplay, setting, legacy of the Elder Scrolls franchise, and much more.

It will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC and it will retail at £129.99/ €149.99. It will be limited in quantity so if you fancy splashing £130 on a game, DVD, book and statue, then by all means, pre-order away.
