Motorstorm Apocalypse Receives A Create And Share Update

Evolution Studios has just announced a new update coming to Motorstorm Apocalypse which will bring the create and share mechanic made famous by PlayStation friend LittleBigPlanet. The Mode Editor will allow players to create their own race modes within the Motorstorm template which can then be played on or offline.

The update will also bring in the ability to share your customised vehicle designs with friends via motorstorm.com. You will also be able to download any designs and apply to any vehicle you choose.

“Sharing your personalised vehicles is simple: upload them from MotorStorm Apocalypse to your personal Profile area on motorstorm.com and other players can view them immediately.

Downloading shared vehicles from other players is just as easy: find one you like the look of onmotorstorm.com, sign in with your PSN Online ID and download it – it will be waiting for you when you next go into Customisation in the game!”

Along with the create and share tools, steering wheel and PlayStation Move support will be introduced so players can get “even closer to the racing action with a more tactile and realistic control set-up”. Supported steering wheels are: Logitech G25, Logitech G27, Logitech Driving Force GT and Logitech Driving Force Pro.

The update also includes improvements and changes such as: new racer ‘clan tags’, changes to gambling (bets are now won when a rival is disconnected or disqualified) and changes to lobby privacy (privates rooms are now invite only).

The update should be live in your region now.
