So about a month ago we mentioned that we would be partaking in this year’s Extra Life marathon to help raise money for kids in Children’s Miracle Network hospitals around the world. Well, now we’re upping the anti.

As we take part in the 24-hour marathon on October 15, we want your help to raise as much money as we can. We’re still some way off of our target so to help persuade you all further, we’ve teamed up with a couple of quite lovely people who are supplying us with some fantastic prizes to give away.

There will be a selection of prizes for anyone who donates at least $10 to any one of the MediaKick participants – a list of whom can be found here: http://bit.ly/ExtraLifeMediaKick, but for every $10 that you donate, you’ll receive an entry into the prize draw. So donate $20 and you’ll get 2 entries, $30 for three and so on. Don’t worry if you’ve already donated, your donations will count.

We currently have two copies of F1 2011 (one PS3, one 360) courtesy of Codemasters, three awesome tees from the guys at InsertCoin clothing, a copy of FIFA 12 for PS3 (this is a promo copy that unfortunately has no online pass code), a batch of Guild Wars 2 Artbooks (Softcover) and a very rare Guild Wars 2 Charr plush both thanks to NCSoft, and also an OnLive console! We’ll have prize draws for each of them so you could be in with the chance to win multiple prizes.

Additionally, the person who donates the most amount will win a game of their choice!

Not only that, but there will be a couple of prizes for people jump in and play games with us (we’ll have a time list up nearer the time) which already includes an Uncharted t-shirt and three Gears of War 3 Signature Series strategy guides thanks to BrandyGames.
