Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Demo “Early Access” Included With Battlefield 3

If you just can’t wait until March next year to get your hands on Mass Effect 3, then luckily for you, you’ll only need to wait until January as both a single player and multiplayer demo will be released.

“Be first to the front lines in the multiplayer section of the Mass Effect 3 demo,” read the Bioware forum post. In order to gain “early access” to the multiplayer portion, which was only recently revealed, you’ll need to purchase a copy of Battlefield 3 and redeem your Online Pass, which will see you automatically granted early access.

The demo will launch sometime in January 2012, in all regions where the game is, with an exact date in late November.

If you don’t intend to buy a copy of Battlefield 3 fear not, as come late November/early December, BioWare will announce other ways for fans to engage the enemy with their friends online from day one, inlcuding one whereby players and fans of the Mass Effect franchise can unlock this early access (with no purchase necessary).

The single-player section of the demo will be available to all players on day one of the demo launch.

This is not the first time this kind of deal has been struck though, with news earlier this month detailing the Starhawk MP beta access included with copies of Uncharted 3.
