UK Charts: Battlefield 3 Storms To The Top Of The Charts

It was always going to be big, and boy it is. Battlefield 3 launches not only at top spot in the UK Charts, but is also the tenth biggest UK All formats week 1 seller (and ninth by revenue). It has doubled the launch week sales of Medal of Honor by two-to-one, and outsold the cumulative week 1 sales of all seventeen Battlefield games since 2002.

As for the rest of the chart, Batman: Arkham City drops one place into second, as FIFA 12 drops in third. Likewise for Football Manager 2012 which also drops just one spot into fourth. Just Dance 3 holds firm in fifth meaning Forza 4 drops two places into sixth. Sales for Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure improve seeing the Activision title up into ninth, whilst new release Kinect Sports: Season Two debuts in eighteenth.
