I sit here, the clock having just struck past midnight as we enter into a day of strong festivities, gluttony and joy; for today is Christmas day.

Firstly, I’d like to extend from everyone here at MediaKick a Merry Christmas to you all, with the hope that it will be a great day for each and every one of you. Whether it’s the over-indulgence of delicious food, giving and receiving of gifts, spending time with family and loved ones, or whatever it is that makes Christmas special to you.

It’s been a hectic festive period here at the MediaKick Mansion, with some serious work and effort put in by the team to produce a record amount of content for the site. Whether it’s been the organising, writing and revealing of the Community’s Game of the Year winners, the nominating and then subsequent announcement of the Staff’s Game of the Year, or the fantastic most anticipated games of 2012 feature we’ve been running since the start of the month – of which concludes at noon today with our Most Anticipated Game of 2012; all of it has not only required a tremendous amount of time, but has been thoroughly enjoyable, and is something we hope to bring you more of soon.
