This is probably the most complicated love triangle going in the gaming world this year, but what a setting! A brand new Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City trailer has been unleashed showcasing the initial incident that causes the conflict within the zombie apocalypse.
Currently being developed by Slant Six games with supposedly some supervision from Capcom, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is already causing a stir by being a huge departure for the general theme. Normally we only see one, maybe two people against the zombies/monsters of chemical warfare, but in this new Resident Evil game we have a whole team. The interesting factor so far is that there is a three way fight. The new trailer highlights this in a heavily dramatic way.
Here we see just how the Umbrella operatives “get the job done“, and also how the Spec Ops team assigned to help the people of Raccoon City find themselves in a conflict with not only the marauding undead, but also the grunts of a desperate corporate machine keen to isolate the damage. Got to feel sorry for that poor Licker though, never saw it coming… Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is due out at some point later this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, though so far no European release date has been confirmed.
