Ubisoft''s plan of countering piracy seems to be "let's not release our games on PC". There will be Ghost Recon: Online though…

Considering these are the folks who have felt community wrath from their DRM debacles, this seems both unsurprising and a little severe. It's a bit of a silly reaction, let's be honest: it's solving a problem by pretending it doesn't exist, basically… Plus, the people who don't pirate games on the PC and who were planning on buying these games will be missing out to a certain extent.

What do you think?

It's very stick your head in the sand and hope it goes away, however, I can see their point. It costs them to port the game and if people aren't going to buy it and end up just pirating it, which we all know is rife on PC, then it doesn't make sense for them to port it.

DRM has shown that it just doesn't work and only ends up hindering or annoying the legitimate customer, whilst pirates just get around it anyway.
