Ryan joined MediaKick with no previous experience in games journalism and has managed to prove his English tutors wrong by becoming part of the team in September 2010. If he isn’t writing up the latest news, he’s watching Manchester United win or playing anything that tickles his fancy.

Phillip Costigan

Although a hardcore Final Fantasy fan and general RPG nutter, Phil’s gaming life began humbly with his father’s old MegaDrive. Now a writer at MediaKick and host of the nuTSAck Podcast, Phil has become infinitely more wise through this time, while still managing to stay a hugely biased Manchester United fan.

Greatest gaming achievement: Getting all Espers and beating Omega Mark XII and Yiazmat in Final Fantasy XII.

An avid gamer since youth, Dave made the conscious decision three years ago to start his own path towards a career in journalism, maintaining a personal blog to build up his writing skills right up until April 2011 when he joined MediaKick. When not gaming he enjoys listening to a variety of different music that ranges from Folk to Metal, amongst other genres. He is also training to be a certified Magic the Gathering Judge and likes a nice pint or two at the weekends.

Greatest gaming achievement: Completing Persona 4 with the True Ending and unlocking the ultimate Persona (Took around a week and a half of playtime. Seriously!).

Harry Bandell

After being allowed a go on his sister’s Game Boy over a decade ago, Harry’s fate was sealed. Combined with a passion for journalism discovered years later, he started writing and talking about them three years ago and has barely stopped since. After writing for a number of sites, in the summer of 2011, Harry found a home in MediaKick. His writing has been described as ‘flowery’, attempts to write news and reviews from a more personal and informal angle not going unnoticed.

He considers himself a jack of all trades but a master of one: Tiger Woods PGA Tour. You’ll find him playing that or just about any game that piques his interest, indie games included.

Greatest Gaming Achievement: Collecting all 800 orbs in Crackdown during a 24 hour gaming marathon.
